Share price of Chola Inv Finance falls as Nifty weakens

The stock hit a high price of Rs 1227.9 and low of Rs 1189.0 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 18.57 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:41PM shares and turnover at Rs 479.0 crore around that time.

The stock of Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1239.8 and Rs 658.0, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.8.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 51.46 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while foreign investors held 20.92 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 20.37 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4170.79 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 8.77 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 3834.57 crore and up 49.17 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 2795.91 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 709.94 crore, up 26.32 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
