The company posted net profit of Rs 940 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis the net profit grew 3.5%.
Revenue from operations increased by 8.5% YoY to Rs 7,979 crore in Q3FY25, the company’s highest ever quarterly revenue.
On a QoQ basis revenue rose 2.3%.
The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and ammortisation (EBITDA) before forex and other income rose 1.7% to Rs 1,628 crore. The EBITDA margin for the quarter decreased 138 basis points YoY to 20.4%.
US formulations revenue that constitute 46% YoY decreased 2.3% YoY to Rs 3,671 crore. Europe formulation revenue which contributes 26.6% of revenues stood at Rs 2,121 crore, with YoY increase of 22.7%.Growth Markets revenue grew by 39.3% YoY to Rs 873 crore, while the antiretroviral revenue rose 71.2% YoY to Rs 307 crore.The active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) revenue dropped 1.6% YoY to Rs 1,006 crore.
The research & development (R&D) spend stood at Rs. 450 crore, constituting about 5.6% of revenues.

“Looking ahead, we are enhancing our manufacturing capabilities and ramping up our specialty and injectable business, with these initiatives, we expect notable profitability improvements and are well-positioned to sustain growth and meet our objectives for the year,” Reddy added.
