Godrej Consumer shares decline 0.1% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. traded at Rs 1004.4 on BSE at 01:08PM (IST) on Monday, down 0.1 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 793.7 and a high of Rs 1101.55.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a opening in the morning.

A total of 10,936 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:08PM (IST).

The stock of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 102756.1 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 61.3, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 7.18. Return on equity (ROE) was at 12.34 per cent, according to exchange data.

Promoters held 63.21 per cent in the Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 23.53 per cent and 7.37 per cent, respectively.
