How one child inspired a possible medical breakthrough

Jordan Lang was born with an incredibly rare genetic mutation — so rare that she was the first ever to be diagnosed with it. Thanks to the work of her parents and five other families whose children have the same condition, millions of dollars to research the rare mutation have been raised and ongoing research may have led to a possible breakthrough.
