NEW DELHI: Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 24.06 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 11.18 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 11.05 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 10.57 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 9.03 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.47 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.42 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 6.91 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 6.19 crore) and Bajaj Hindusthan Su(numbers of share traded: 5.70 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 6.25 points up at 19434.55, while BSE Sensex ended up 79.27 points at 65401.92.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.29 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.58 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent), State Bank of India(down 2.33 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
