Sri Lankan athlete Tharushi Karunarathna won gold in the Women’s 800 meters event, at the Taiwan Athletics Open 2024 on Sunday (02).
Karunarathna claimed first place in the final with a timing of 2.05.74 minutes.
Meanwhile, she also won gold in the Women’s 400m event with a timing of 52.48 seconds on Saturday (01).
The Taiwan Athletics Open 2024, which was upgraded this year to a leg of the World Athletics Continental Tour, is being held at the Taipei Stadium, Taiwan.
