The NSE Nifty50 index ended 114.8 points down at 19428.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 365.53 points at 65322.65.
HCL Technologies(up 3.28%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.03%), Titan Company Ltd(up 0.96%), Reliance Industries(up 0.42%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.38%), Tata Steel(up 0.25%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.19%), State Bank of India(up 0.09%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.07%) and LTIMindtree Ltd(up 0.02%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 2.3%), NTPC(down 2.02%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.77%), SBI Life(down 1.71%), UPL Ltd(down 1.63%), Asian Paints(down 1.62%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.6%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 1.56%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.41%) and Hindalco Industries(down 1.38%) closed in the red.
