Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 10.63 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 8.77 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 6.64 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 4.6 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 3.68 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 3.1 per cent) and Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.76 per cent up at 989.2.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 33.15 points at 22442.7, while the BSE Sensex stood up 17.39 points at 73895.54. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 ended in the green, while 26 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, PNB and REC were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of GRP Ltd, Ganges Securities, Dolat Invst, Sarla Perform and Wealth First Port hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while MPS Infotecnics, SITI Networks, Signpost India, Future Supply Chain and Zee Ent. hit their fresh 52-week lows.
